Maribor.

Posted by: Claire

Howdy from Europe everyone.

I'm writing from a beautiful Chalet in the French Alps and staring out the windows at the mountains and blue sky. This is our base between races from now until after the Worlds.

Our first stop was World Cup #1 in Maribor, Slovenia. It was my first time on my new M6 and it went pretty well, finished 11th. Getting back into the Euro style tracks.....

Before I left I took some snaps of the B Labs Van. It underwent some pimping out while I was in Cali for the winter. Looks sick.

New bikes and snowy weekends

Posted by: Tyler

Snow.jpg
They had to start trucking the snow out of the bike park last week... can you believe that? Well it's true the park will open on the 17th, even if its a muddy single trail trough. It just keeps staying cold in the mountains and I'm hating it. Anyway.. I came across a pretty pro paint job on Kyle Norbraten's new slope bike and I was amazed! Check it out, its not a sweet sticker job its a real paint job!

Brandon got 3rd at the first Quashqai main! Super stoked for him!!
Young steve Smith placed 44th at the first world cup(he hit a tree but qualified 14th)

FISE

Posted by: Pierre

The 2008 FISE was amazing, beautiful weather, lots of people, crazy riding and big parties. All those elements made this year fise the best so far. The MTB comp was a real success, with a lot of riders (Pro and Amateur, almost 60!!!); an amazing slope style course with some big airs, trick jumps, a super fun north shore line and a huge wall ride. Sam Pilgrim won with two solid runs; the French level is getting way better with the young guns. I end 4th place, hard luck for me, I blew up my rear tire on the first run and broke my derailleur at the end of the second one. Whatever this week was cool. You can check out the video we did for freecaster. Hope to see more international riders next year.

get out and ride!

Vivid increases your sex life

Posted by: Joscha

After building the curved wallride at Sram I was super motivated to build some wooden constructions at home. I didn't want to sleep on the floor anymore, so at first I started building a bed yesterday. Nice!

Oh, and since I got this dope Rock Shox Vivid buckle my girlfriend loves to open my pants even more...(what a bad topic, sorry)!

Qashqai

Posted by: Cam

So I didn't have the greatest weekend at the Madrid Qashqai.I have only been back on my bike and jumping for a week. Despite this, I felt like I was riding pretty solid. So I went for some switch 3's. Landed the first one, and the third one threw me off and I rolled my ankle. Its pretty black and blue five days later... I skipped my first qualifying run because I couldn't even walk. The second run was the following day. One of the medics on hand taped the crap out of it and I was able to roll through a couple times. Because of my ankle I had to adjust my run. For example, I was flipping the long jump on the course, but since I couldnt really pump, I had scratch that.
Anyway, I put together my safety quali run and it put me in 9th. By the end of everyones second runs I was in 16th. They took 15 to the final. Bummer!
Good news is they handed out five wild card spots for the final two events! They gave one of them to me, so I am now resting my ankle for Munich in a couple days.
Cheers
